A Couple Attempted To Blow Up a Car . . . With Flaming Tampons
Patricia and Quentin Deshong of Metal Township, Pennsylvania were arrested for vandalizing a car outside a bar two weekends ago.
--Police aren't sure WHY the couple got upset with 25-year-old Falon Clark, but they took out their anger on her car.
--By the time police arrived, it was covered with dents, and the Deshongs had cracked and broken the windshield and windows.
--But that was child's play. The Deshongs hadn't been satisfied with just vandalizing the woman's car, they also tried to BLOW IT UP. In a pretty original way, actually. Stupid, but original. Here's what they did . . .
--The Deshongs opened the car's gas cap . . . and stuffed it with TAMPONS. They also went under the hood and opened the oil-fill cap. They stuck tampons in there too . . . then LIT them all on FIRE.
--Police found ashes and half burned tampons, figured out what happened, and charged the Deshongs with attempted arson.
--They were also charged with criminal mischief, public drunkenness, and theft . . . because Patricia took the car's license plate with her.
--No one would say what started the feud, but it may not be over. On her Facebook page, Falon said that she was, quote, "lookin' for some revenge" a few hours after her car was trashed.
